i either want to be a baker or own a catering company. focusing on the catering company what steps should i take to accomplsi h that?(im still in highschool) should i go to culinary school or should i go to a college and take a buisness course and what aboutn ow? how should i get experience while still in high school?

Right now you could get some work experience in the foodservice industry - seek out local caterers (many don't hire high school students, though) and bakers for possible part-time jobs.

For the future, if you don't go to a school like the Culinary Institute of America which effectively offers business courses along with the culinary training, it makes sense to do both if your goal is to own your own company. Most students will go to college first, then do the culinary training, but I do have one student now who went to culinary school before moving on to college. It works either way.

Buy "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child.

And "The Martha Rules" by Martha Stewart.
