Winter, I like the snow.
In summer I have to keep up 8 acres, no mowing in winter.

Winter. We do not have snow or very severe winters and our summers can be up to 114 degrees. This sounds like a riddle. Where am I?

winter - I live in the desert - the coolest it ever gets is 65 degrees and these people think that is cold - they actually wear wool sweaters with turtlenecks - the whole shabang.
They don't know what a real winter is like.
I miss winter time. But I can't move right now, so it is just wishful thinking.

WINTER.
I live in South Carolina, so summer generally lasts from April until October. It's hot, humid, mosquito-y and generally just icky.
I'd rather have snow and hot chocolate and big coats and scarves and cloudy, dark days and cute sweaters and hats and fireplaces...
Plus, I LOVE Thanksgiving and Christmas, and my birthday is in February, so winter is a lot more fun for me.
