does anyone know if its possible to mount a 383 or 440 engine into a camaro

if i have the right trans and things?

if not what chevy engine would be recommended to get about equal power?

If you have the money, time, money, knowledge and money... you could put any engine you want into a Camaro, but why mess around with all that fabrication and modificaton when you can pick up an Edelbrock crate engine based on the Chevy 350 that will drop right in, and can produce more than 500 street legal horsepower!

No don't bother putting mopar into a chevy. its pointless, there are plenty of good set ups already, do a 383 or a 454 or even a 502 ci. They'll blow the doors off of any Mopar block.

dont try a mopar in a camaro... get a 383 chevy...its a stroked 350...costs about the same...it would cost twice the cost to switch and no end of headachs.
