Why are rapists the only criminals allowed to keep their weapons after they commit an offense?

Shouldn't the tools of their crimes be confiscated as well?

By weapon, I mean their penises.

The tools of their crime are power, humiliation and aggression, I'm not sure how you take that away from a man....rape is not about sex at all. If they had no penis...they would use other things.

Like I said: not about sex.


PS: I think people are assuming you mean "guns" and "knifes"....

These are statistics. Statistics are never 100% accurate. You have to question the source. if 88% of serial killers and rapists then: 1) This is based on what has been reported and people who have been correctly caught. 2) A certain time period 3) Location. You can't base the fact white men commit the most crimes on this source as I doubt they would have spent the time to collect overall global facts and checked them over several times to ensure accuracy. You would find far more crimes among black men in poor, developing african countries and you should know, there are unfortunately several of these countries. Overall my answer it to say that I do believe this is incorrect. This is because the sources are weak and it is impossible to create any accurate statistics. How can they collect statistics of these crimes from years ago and crimes that haven't been reported, as well as not taking in to account the total global scale where I doubt white men or Caucasian men would be found to be over 50%. My answer is: Noone knows why and there is no solid evidence that they have done so. The sources are flawed and therefore you will not receive an accurate and good answer.

I feel the same way that you do Brother about a rapist, but let me define for you a rapist.
A rapist: Someone who brutally subdues its victim and forces them to have sexual intercourse.Good definition.

Now here is another definition of a rapist: An eighteen year old boy who has just meet a thirteen year old girl at a beer party.This young child has make up on and is dressed in a halter top and short shorts.They get into some heavy petting, but without going all the way.Here is an eighteen year old rapist and sex offender.

Please do not think that I support this kind of promiscuous behavior.But I have seen this very thing take place in our judicial system many times.These young men are considered out cast because no one understands the details involved here.All thats known is that these young men are sex offenders, period.These young men become bitter citizens and often fall into depression.The reason that I know these things is because I am a jail minister.

and how do you confiscate the weapon that a person you uses mind control to commit a crime? take the persons brain. another point you missed out on that a number of rapes are committed by women so what do you do with them?

Problem is; There are two entities that would scream bloody murder if a rapist's "weapon" was confiscated. 1) The liberal wing of YOUR political party and, 2) The rapist!! Personally, it would give me great pleasure to hear either group screaming about such confiscation!

this was actually considered an option years ago, and I have heard of judges that as part of their sentence, ordering castration. but the sentence was overturned on appeal, do to the outcry by human rights activist.
there was also a case where a judge ordered a woman (who was have a child every year in order to stay on welfare,) to be implanted with that 7 year birth control, and that was overturned also.
it does get frustrating at times when criminals seem to have more rights than we do.

I never knew that rapists were even allowed to keep weapons. I think any criminal should be confiscated of their weapons.

Great point! Of course "confiscation" should be done after their guilt is completely proved. It would be bad is someone was wrongfully accused and then had to "reacquire" their weapon.

Their penis is not the only problem. Their strength, their hands, their sadistic minds, their lack of heart, their hatred and need to control are weapons. The rapist needs to be removed from society permanently.

I had no idea. This is definitely something we should all change. This is beyond disturbing. I was raped as a young girl, and I have no kind of respect or sympathy for people who choose violence as a means to get sex. I think stripping them of their self esteem and dignity is better.
