Check out huckabee myspace, you can look at family photos...this guy is so real, not a head in the air better than us.
The ad was/is not going to hurt him, if you like his issue stance and you research you will see that he is not the campain smearing type.

The ad is like him real life-with a great sence of humor!

I like Huckabee a lot, he's my 2nd choice behind Giuliani.

I was apalled at this commercial. It was cheesiest piece of garbage I've seen yet. Huckabee has a lot of good to say, and he stands for so much more than, cheesy bubble gum ads. Any serious voter, votes on issues, not what "has been" actor endorses you.

Wow...what a way to shoot down ones credibility! I'm ranting, because I adore Huckabee. This ad can only hurt his credibility. If he doesn't win the nomination, this can actually hurt his potential for the VP slot. I was REALLY hoping for that.
He should immediately fire his PR person.

BTW...He's running for President of the United States, not President of The Hair Club for Men, or Bow Flex Corp. Chuck Norris will endorse anything in order to keep his name current.

What next...Christy Brinkley endorsing Hillary? Saying, "It's fashionable to break glass ceilings".

I won't give a star, because I don't want serious republicans NOT voting for Huckabee because of this.

Daewen - Huckabee provides a balance. I am a Conservative and Giuliani's politics aren't far off from Huckabee's. I think you may need to do more research (and not through the liberal media). Giuliani is not "for" abortion and gay marriage. He is "for" addressing them the right way, which is NOT through the FEDERAL government. Huckabee has good ideas on those issues, therefore creating a balance. Huckabee has a wonderful way of coming across to people (totally not abrasive). With that I feel some of these issues can be resolved more emphatically.

Blaze - Having a sell out has been with a bad toupee in your commercial, isn't funny. It's political suicide. He has a TON of respected individuals that could have been used, and still kept it light and personal. I don't know about you, but I'm choosing the best candidate for the job. Not the one who has friends that can karate chop me.

Yeah, I love that ad! I saw it on his website as soon as it was posted. So refreshing - and amusing, like Huckabee or don't like Huckabee.

edit: interesting. I think it's good because it will get people's attention, esp. those who haven't been paying attention to Huckabee. It portrays his personality well and lightens things up a bit. Laugh, check out his site, and move on.

Question for the poster above me: How can you like both Huckabee and Giuliani? They are on opposite ends of the universe!!

I really like that!
I hope that he is able to get more out there.

I like how he is careful with money--un like the wasteful, and hate ads the other will/have put out there.
