They were never married she has no right to the house as it is in his name. He has always paid all the bills, she can't let go we have to go into battle everytime we want to do anything to do with his little girl but after 18months we have had enough.

The house is safely his, but he is obligated to support his child. When you have the child with you her controlling needs to be ignored. You can't change her, but you can change how you react to her.
