I have mixed feelings towards it. Traditional activities changed when my sister (who hosted the holidays for years) moved away. Last year I got ill and didn't do much. Depending on how I feel I hope this year will be better. 8:)

Yes, I'm looking forward to the holidays. My daughter just turned a year old and it'll be her second holiday season (although she was only a week old for Thanksgiving last year). I can't wait to see things through her eyes this year.

Camping! This year is great, with 2 long weekends for camping at the beach. No stress, no aggravation, just waves and dolphins.

Not really. It will be difficult since my husband and I are separated and he wants to come back "home" to "patch things up." For years, I have tried and he unwilling. I am at the point now where I have nothing left to give him... and I want to move on with my life. He wants to spend the holidays here, STILL oblivious to the facts while he thinks we are just taking a "break" from each other.

Yes siree I sure am.....................we have family coming, I love all the decorations, xmas tree, gift buying, in fact I love the whole darned lot. Then theres always the extra added spice of what Santa may leave in my stocking.
