With only a couple weeks left in the season, things are still up in the air. I personally think it will be LSU v West Virginia. I don't think either team will lose. I will say that LSU has the toughest remaining schedule and will have the greatest chance of losing. I would love to see my Buckeyes get into the title game, but they slipped up against a very good Illinois team and the Rose Bowl will likely be our game.

Now I never said that LSU is a dominant team. I don't think there is any team out there that is your typical dominant team, maybe Kansas. I do think that LSU should be rewarded for the tough schedule they played. If they lose, they will probably play in the Sugar Bowl. It would take a few teams losing for OSU to make it back to the NC game, but in this season, anything is possible. The Rose Bowl and OSU are a great fit though, so worst case scenario I'll be happy. I would have loved to have played LSU just so we could have shut up the south and their "holyer than thou" attitude. We get it, the SEC is a very good conference. But your 13-16 vs the Big Ten the last 5 years. I would hardly say that is dominant.

the sad reality of this all is that who it should be is most likely not going to be it, if they can get ohio state vs lsu then the bcs will do anything to make it happen. its a business they are going to wanna put seats in the stands and whichever teams would make them the most money...sadly ohio state has one of the largest fan bases in the country .....but who i would like to see is lsu vs wvu think it would be a hell of a game wv brings it in bowl season

I actually agree with you.

I see Kansas losing to Missouri, and then Missouri losing to OU in the Big 12 title game.

And yep, that would leave LSU playing WVU.
But let me tell you - Arkansas is a potential trap, and if LSU plays Georgia in the SECCG, it won't be a cakewalk...WVU would be capable of winning the title game, but they do not want to go into the Superdome to face LSU. It would basically be a home game for the Tigers. There will definitely be some Crazy Cajuns. Ask OU after the 2004 Sugar Bowl.

I'm not so sure anymore. If Kansas loses, it will be to Missouri this weekend. Mizzou is #4, if they beat #2, will they jump over WVU? I think it all depends on how close of a game it is, whether or not they beat Kansas or if Kansas gives them a victory. Another factor is if WVU can win their next two games agains a tough UConn team and a randomly dangerous Pitt team (it's the backyard brawl, anything can happen.) But I'd say if WVU can have two decent victories and if Kansas falls this week, then it will be LSU WVU

If Missouri beats the vast 12 south winner, and USC or Penn State purely have one loss it is going to likely be certainly one of them. because of the fact Missouri has too many loses and Texas, Texas Tech, and Okalohoma did not win their convention they gained't be invited. Penn State will win the vast 10 and USC will a minimum of have a share of their convention identify. Neither of the communities are deserving, however the BCS would not want yet another subject like Nebraska in '01 or Okalohoma in '04 the place a team that did not win their convention makes the identify interest on an analogous time as different communities with an analogous form of loses that gained their convention did. how are you able to win a play for a countrywide identify in case you do not win your convention or perhaps the branch interior your convention?

yeah LSU vs West Virginia. LSU's schedule is not so tough if they face Tennessee in the SEC championship. I think Oklahoma blew it for the big 12.

i think maybe the SEC only dominates Ohio State in bowl games. i am noting they are 0-6 in recent bowls vs SEC.

Loser of the KU-MO game is out of it, then if the winner of that game loses in the Big 12 title game, they are done. West Va. must win out to make out or your Buckeyes sneak in. Lat case, LSU could get knocked off and that would also open the door.

I was just about to ask Ohio State fans who they would pull for in the NC game if they weren't in it. I can see there is at least one Ohio State fan that can see the dominance of LSU.
