Tee hee...If it's what I'm thinking of, it's a Christmas tree made of aluminum strips with a colored wheel you place at the bottom (on the floor) that plugs in and when it turns it changes the color of the tree. Mostly green, red & yellow. We don't use these much here in the America anymore...that I know of. How Christmasee can it be?!

A couple of years ago I want to buy one so I went on Ebay and there they were for a couple hundred bucks. They were just so tacky. We did have one in he 60's. Just like Sage Seeker described. Everything tried to be so groovy back in the day! I wanted one for nastalgia. None of the grandkids live close enough to be freaked out by it. But my husband said, "No way!" He's so conservative! LOL

They were artifical trees made of aluminum with frizzy aluminum branches. The color wheel was a rotating wheel with triangles of different colored plastic and a spot light behind the wheel. As the wheel rotated it shone a different color light over the reflective tree.

Sage Seeker explains it beautifully. it was all the rage when I was young. My Aunt had one (probably still does somewhere)
when I was a child. I can remember thinking it was the most beautiful tree in the world and even thought she had to be rich to have one. Now when I think back how tacky it was, and still laugh. What fond memories.

Look in the stores this year. I have seen lots of them this year already in red and sliver. The colored light wheel reflected on the tree.

It's the 60's Christamas tree I believe your talking about. They sell them at the home improvement stores. Try Lowe's or Home Depot.

I just found this for you. They were popular in the 60's and I always thought they were kind of tacky. I can't believe they they are making a comback!
