When I accelerate in my car I experience jerkiness and it doesn't accelerate at a smooth constant rate. This is after I have engaged the clutch. Is it because of worn clutch pads or something like that? Will it cost much to fix? I have a manual 94 camry.

I don't think it has been tuned.

Clutches usually fail by slipping or causing harsh shifting. Actually sounds more like an engine miss than a clutch.

clutch for a 94 camry are about $400 fitted, personally i would get a mechanic to look at it rather than asking us on yahoo.

if the problem is serious get it looked at ASAP!

the last thing you need is for the clutch to burn out doing 100mph on the freeway or what ever ( i dont know american freeway speed limits as i live in Australia
