first you call them cheaters for a minor rules infraction and say their superbowls were tainted and they arent good without cheating.... now that they arent stealing signals you say they are being mean by running up the score...
give them a break, they cant help it if they are up by 30 at the half of each game, what do u want them to do? pack it in and just let the other team have the ball the whole time in the second half?

Wow is this our public school system's education now. "Minor rules infraction"? Oh such a minor rule that the coach was fined to the fullest, the team was fined, and oh yeah they will be THE FIRST TEAM to lose a first round draft pick. Man what does the NFL do to MAJOR RULE violators? Then you ask what they are expected do it. Well maybe what EVERY OTHER TEAM DOES. Run the ball, eat up clock, and PUT IN BACKUPS. Now throw 30+ yards on first down. Although you patriots fans will never get it.

No people dont like winners, but I think with the Patriots and a few other good teams they suddenly get 75% more fans that claim they were fans since 1972.
THere are more pats fans on here than other fans and its not nice when teams beat your team and the person who wins cant say "Bad Luck but good game" they have to rub your face in it !

Pats' fans (I am one, and have been for more than 30 years) need to accept that the Internet is full of jealous whiners and haters, and just ignore these people.
That is not say there aren't a lot of knowledgeable, great fans out there, but the internet brings out the worst in the whiners; they say things they would never say in person as they hide behind their avatars.
In fairness, some of the bandwagon fans incite this with their public gloating, but it's nowhere near as bad as the venom we get back from the losers who like nothing better than to tear a great team down. And the Patriots are certainly looking like a great team.
So you have 2 choices; you can get involved with these people, which I believe is a waste of time. Or you can smile, shake your head, and wish there weren't so many idiots on the internet. As for me, I have a big smile on right now!

exactly, it is not the patriots job to shut it down if they are kickin some butt,it is the other teams job to stop them from scoring,the patriots rock along with the sox... If there are going to be crybabies than maybe we should do like high school does with division 1 2 and 3 teams.Or better yet like in tee-ball when they have a mercy rule.Or they can just suck it up and practice more.

I am a Steelers fan but I agree with VSM that the Patriots are an awesome team and a fun team to watch. There is no such thing as running up the score. It's up to the defense of the opposing team to stop them. Period.

Why do you let the haters get to you? Just ignore them! The Patriots are settling things on the field. Some people have nothing better to do than to attempt to tear others down. Just enjoy the season and let the haters hate.

It's obvious that all the no-pats are just jealous. They all covet the bounty of the Boston Sports family of champions. I was just reading the old testament and I must say the rest of the world outside of the orbit of New England must be careful. Thou must not covet! It goes against the commandments God handed to Moses on Mt Sinai. I fear for the rest of the country, they are in danger of being condemned to wander in the desert for 40 years. To the rest of the country I say...Repent!!! Become a Pats fan and feel good about yourselves. Do not live in the darkness of bitterness and regret..Join US!!!
