Review the material, just by reading through it with an alert mind, two weeks before the quiz, then every third day until the quiz. When the day arrives the pathways to the answers will be well established in your brain and recall won't be a problem.

If you have notes for the class, sit down and rewrite them in a more organized manner. If not, do the same thing with the textbook. If all else fails, go to your teacher and aske for some practice questions or websites to find practice questions.

Study in a group and write down answers. It creates a collective which becomes a part of your knowledge bank. Writing it down makes the answers part of you muscle mind, (spinal cord) which is much stronger than the brain.

I would say go over your notes that you hopefully took during class and make index cards with questions on the front and answers on the back. Also what I do with my 9 yr. old son is try to make it out of his favorite show or song and incorporate it like that. Try to make it fun and not boring.
