Can they sell it now? who would buy a house where bodies have been found.

I am sure they will compensated for the house but, how on earth can they be compensated for the traumas,I certainly wish them well in the future, and hope this bad time will soon go away from their memories

I dont know,but I think the house where Huntley murdered Holly and Jessica was demolished,maybe thatll happen in margate too.

It was reported on the news that they were rehoused by the local authority so it could be a council house.
Either way I feel really bad for them - it must be horrid knowing that you were living with goodness knows how many dead bodies buried in the house and garden and to have your home ripped apart too through no fault of your own.

That's the very thing me and my husband said.With Fred West's house, it was bulldozed to the ground and a memorial garden built.
There was a dreadful murder in my town a few years ago.A mother, her daughters and the gran were killed in the house.Yet it was sold on.I couldn't live there.I hope these poor people where the bodies were found get compensation.

I think it's owned by the local authority.
If this wasnt the case then i believe that in other such cases the police force have bought the house from the current occupiers as in the case of the West's house. They are generally demolished.

They will receive compensation of full market value, so wherever they chose to buy next.
I reckon the house will be demolished though.

it`s a council house i belive and they have been offered other accomodation.
