the turkey, from my childhood, to preparing it as a young adult hosting the family meal (i wrapped it in tin foil, it tasted great but fell apart), to the first turkey my daughter saw as a baby, to the turkey i cooked right before my divorce (where i put a cup of wine on it and drank the rest), to the first one my daughter cooked (she didnt want to stick her hand in and pull out the giblets, so she put on gloves and used tongs, lol ) to the last turkey i cooked before my mom passed on two years ago, to the one i just bought Saturday
while the memories of the meal and family get-togethers stand out in my memory also, its the turkey and the cooking of it i remember most!
