Taking into consideration that a block is a cube, example one is:

a 1 x 1 square, a 2 x 2 square, a 4 x 4 square ( increasing by 4 times in size, each time)

a 1 x 1 square, a 3 x 3, a 5 x 5 ( increasing by adding a layer of blocks completely around the previous layer)

the third example is just a doubling of the number of blocks.

Was this all the info you can provide for this problem? If there is more, add as a detail. I'll check back in a few

the first is X*4 each time. so it would be 1,4,16,32,64...
the third is X*2 each time. so it would be 2,4,8,16,32,64...
