Well, i think its because he has written so many songs about almost every emotion ppl feel. He has a song for almost anything.....being heartbroken ("Even Now"), falling out of love with someone ("Read 'em and weep"). He sings songs you can dance to, he sings happy songs, sad songs, uplifting songs....the list goes on. My favorite is "Please dont be scared" because i can relate to it.

Although I'm not what you'd call a "fanilow", I used to like him, until he pulled that recent crap re: The View. What a cheap way to call attention to his latest album! He needs to work more on making the ORIGINAL songs that everyone loved and LESS on churning out other people's song from the past...and shoving his political beliefs down people's throats! But then a LOT of celebrities should do that...

it's got be because of his great song writing skills,he wrote such songs as, "ready to take a chance again" The title song form The Chevy chase and Goldie Hawn film, seems like old times, and don't forget such classics such as "Mandy." it's a miracle" when will i see you again" as well as many other songs decades ago.

I wouldn't know either. I don't believe he can sing.And he's nothing to look at. Must be his writing. Don't know for sure if he even does that or not.
