how many wear your wedding rings?
I have a habit of not b/c I'm not a jewlery person (no bracelets, necklaces etc). But I try real hard to wear it b/c of the stignma that it looks like you don't want to be married if you don't wear it.

KITKAT--Why did you exchange rings?
"I don't think I said in this question, I exchanged anything!"

interesting how shallow people are about a ring. There's more than the ring to the marriage.

I'm not a jewelry person either, but my engagement ring and my wedding ring only leave my finger for 2 reasons. If I'm doing something really dirty, or if I am cleaning it. Other than that I wear them all the time. I have 4 pieces of jewelry that I never take off, my wedding set, and a necklace with a heart pendant my husband bought me on our first Christmas together 10 years ago.

My husband and i both lost our wedding bands over the summer. We haven't purchased new ones and if we do i don't know if i could get used to it again because i am the same way....i don't wear jewelery. Yet , we have came upon this unspoken agreement- We married each other because we trust each other and if a situation arose because of no rings on our fingers that it would still explain we are married and exactly why there are no rings. Rings are a symbol. Trust and truthfulness is what matters in a marriage.

I think you are misunderstanding kitkat. She meant, why did you give him a ring, and why did he give you a ring at your wedding, if you didn't plan on wearing it. Since you do say you try to wear it, that is kind of saying that you did indeed "exchange" or give each other rings at your wedding ceremony....
I wear mine always. I'm not a jewelry person either, but I cherish what it symbolizes and I want him to know I am proud to be his wife and proud to let the public know too by wearing it.

I don't wear mine either. Not because I don't want to but because I just had a baby and everything is still kinda puffy, fingers included!!! I am hoping I will be able to wear it soon, because I feel bare without it. And also my husband gained some sympathy weight right along with me and his wedding band is snug on him, so hopefully we can both lose the weight soon, so we don't have to get them sized, and for the record, i'm not a jewelry person either. Just my wedding rings.

My husband and I haven't worn ours for about 3 years. My husband works at home and I am a stay at home Mom. Until recently it wasn't a problem. We both took ours off because we both gained weight and It was too tight. But now I have lost the weight and it fits again but I got use to not wearing it. Then I went off to work for a little while and I thought I didn't need it nobody would notice me. Boy was I wrong, I got hit on like crazy. So I no longer work at that job.

I'm not married but I'd like to answer... I'm not a jewelry person either (earrings sometimes, that's it) but I'd definitely wear my wedding ring. Probably the only thing I'd absolutely wear every day :)

I don't cause I just hate wearing rings. Neither does my husband because he works in a shop where he uses oil and machinery all day long. Doesn't leave much time to wear it.

I wear it. I would get hit on by way too many men if I didn't, haha, jk!
Mine is not too big and it is just sooo pretty, I love wearing it, but I also am not a jewelry person. I never wear anything else.

i wear it all the time because it should be a sacred vow among with the others, and if u got married by church then the priest should have blessed it, so the should remind u of your commitments that u vowed to ur spouse, but this is what its suppose to mean, but now in days marriage is a joke and people just get married just for fun and to have marital affairs.
