brivers side under the car above the exaust the repair manuel says it takes 4 hours to get it out you need to remove part of the exaust

sad thing is i repair the starter in less thain 1 hour

i dont pull it out i take it appart and replace the contacts while its in the car the parts cost less than $10

if you were in utah i could fix it for you

On the bottom of the motor, near where the engine and transmission are bolted together. The starter motor must engage the flywheel/ring gear in order to spin the engine up to starting speed. Follow the thick wire from your positive battery post-it'll bolt to the starter.
