You can do anything you truly want to do. But know all facts before waiting! Like some people never smarten up or get their life in order which means you could wait forever on nothing!

I remember when I was young, I thought one could just wait for that special person to get thier **** straight, but it never really happened.
So then I just figured, hey, if they do get thier lives figured out, look me up, but I'm not waiting around like an idiot.
Now I'm married, and there are times when you have to wait, even help, someone figure out thier issues.

Women marry the man they think they can turn into what they want. Therefore, if you are not helping someone change then they won't change on their own. To "wait" for someone is not supporting or helping, if you have no contribution to make then you shouldnt be together.

You can not change another person. If you wait for them to change, your wasting your time and life moves on.

i'd say wait. people can and do change. you could be giving up something good. just wait it out and see how it goes..but if you aren't seeing any positive changes, you can move on, but at least give it a chance.

I think yes you can wait, but usually that isn't best. Because what you might be waiting for, isn't waiting for you. Cause if it was, you'd be together.
