cause i saw a picture of a fish that looks like a sponge , but i dont know if its real thou.
so is there really one out there??

There's a whole phylum of them out there, but most of 'em look like plants, instead of fish.
Phylum Porifera-check'em out.
Lots of diversity.

Porifera (mentioned in the first answer) is the Phylum of actual sponges, not any kind of fish. So any photos of Porifera SHOULD resemble a sponge!

It's hard to tell what type of fish you might have seen, but some of the stonefish resemble sponges.
