I'm a little of both. If it's a subject that I know a lot about, I have the upmost confidence in myself, but if I am going somewhere I have never been or doing something that I'm not that familiar with, am like a small child with absolutely no self-confidence looking for validation from someone. Thank goodness my husband knows and appreciates me for the kooky person that I am.

I think I come across as confident, but deep down I need the validation. Very confusing at times.

I'm self confident but sometimes we all need validation from others.

I definitely need validation from others because my self esteem can be low sometime but other time it be high I don't know what I'm thinking really.

I agree with you. I am the kind of individual who likes support from friends, but I can take on a challenge by myself if I have to.

...both...I like to give off a confident aura, but not so much so that I become too self assured...I like to be "handled with care" now and then...

Self-advantageous, each and each of ways, some thing I grew into over the years. In life, you become bored of others, their provides and their BS, and that's while "you" confirm that "you" are the main suitable element for "you" and "you" flow with "you" each and each of ways. not egocentric, not self-absorbed, yet self-advantageous. God Bless.
