oil is what you put in you're engine trans transfer case etc it reduces friction and heat so damage doesn't occur

Is an oil that you use to lubricate or lets say to reduce the friction of a contact point or zone. It could be in honing, sharpening knives, engines, surgical (KY Gel), etc.
