i been a goth for over 9 years..and i dont want so call emo kids answer all i know is that they are posers of goth

Emo is short for "emotive hardcore", a subgenre of hardcore punk, with emotive lyrics and vocals. It was formed in 1985 by bands like Fugazi, Rites of Spring, and Glassjaw. In the mid-90's bands started to emerge that merged elements of emo into pop music, and it was bands like My Chemical Romance who had an emo-influenced sound but a gothic image that started the confusion.

well idk if i would be considered goth, or just a wild woman...lol but you go girl. Well, from my experience, emo is a cheap suckie imitation of goth. they are like a popish, punkish form of goth, ya kno...
they dress in dark clothes, wear dark makeup, are sad, for seemingly noo reason,and the stereotype is that they like to cut themselves.
