(Hi, Tbm...we missed you...she's such a sweetie...woo yaw!)
But to answer your question...(and now I'm damn hungry)...
Deviled Eggs...
(Lord have mercy, I love those things...)
And also...the "cornbread dressing" must be kept "dry and crumbly" separate from the gravy and turkey juice, so you may determine how "wet" you like it...and the cranberry sauce should not be a "sauce" at all...It should be in a solid "sliced circle" shape, with no marshmellows or anything else...The green beans should have bacon bits, and those crispy weird things that look like shriveled up shrunken french fries...and all other vegetable side dishes should have melted cheese on them...the rolls must be hot, served in a cloth and basket, with butter & Sue Bee Honey, the stuffing should NOT be "inside" the turkey, but served separately in a bowl all its' own and the gravy should also be served in a large separate "gravy pourable" dish with the elegant curved pouring spout...Red Wine, Cabernet Sauvignon only, but if you must insist...a fine Merlot will suffice...
So...
What time's dinner, Pearl? My family's on the West Coast...
(Hee hee...)
