My old vga card has some problem so i change a new 1.

mainboard = gigabyte 7VT600P-RZ
old vga card = MSI GF 5200
new vga card = ASUS A9550GE

Nothing shows up on screen when i boot up. the pc reboot by itself. is the new vga card not supported? pls help. thank you.

Your motherboard supports 4x/8x AGP cards. A9550GE is a 8x AGP card. Try reseating the new card twice on the AGP slot before locking. If still it does not work, test it in another PC. If not ok, return it and have it replaced. The card should be able to display POST and BIOS menu even if its driver is not yet installed.
