What is the best way to look to buy Land ? What pitfalls has anyone else come across? Planning permission, types of land etc.
The business is not property development, more outdoor leisure business.
Any thoughts , websites or experience you can share would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Land is easy, planning permission will be (next to) impossible ..

As soon as you show an interest, the NIMBY's will be out in force (no one wants a noisy 'leisure center' next door) ..

You are more or less stuck with buying an existing business ..

NB> These days most Councils provide almost free leisure facilities .. it will be VERY difficult to compete if the Council has something (or is planning something) close by.
