Do you like the name Sahara for a girl?

I am not going to use it for anything I just saw it on a website and thougt it was unusual I quite like it it's very unusual and a bit desert associated

I love the name Sahara.
It would suit a male or a female I think.
As a child I loved a very sweet pony by the name of Sahara. He was a very pale creamy- gold sand colour and he had blue eyes.

Yes i like the name Sahara. People with unusual names tend to develop strong and bubbly personalities. i also like the name Savanna.

Only if you are referencing the desert. I know there is this thing about picking unusual names but think about the child having to bear them.

NO. I associate it with a huge and very piece of sand. Other concepts associated with Sahara are death, thirst, smelly camels, sandstorms etc. These are not the associations you want to have for the name of a girl in my humble opinion.

it means "desert" in Arabic, so saying "Sahara desert" is redundant!
