Yes that does say Venezuela and since most people are wondering why he would say - not to attack his country . Well its because you constantly listen to nonsense ! The US is heading towards Venezuela - Not Iran .

Anyway here's some of the article -

Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan president, has warned that oil prices could surge to 0 if America attacks against his country or Iran.

In his opening address at a rare Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) summit in the Saudi capital, he declared that Opec should "assert itself as an active political agent".

I think he's stating the obvious.
Did you check out what happened at the OPEC meeting Friday night? rofl

'Kill the cable, kill the cable,' shouted the security guard as he burst through the double doors into the media room at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh, followed by Saudi police. It was too late.

Sometimes, such innocent mistakes can have far-reaching economic and political consequences. Commodity and currency traders said this weekend that oil prices would surge again tomorrow - possibly breaking the $101 per barrel record set in the late 1970s - while the already battered dollar would fall further on the back of the unintentional broadcast.
On Friday night, during what the participants thought were private talks, Venezuela's oil minister Venezuela Rafael Ramirez and his Iranian counterpart Gholamhossein Nozari, argued that pricing - and selling - oil using the crippled dollar was damaging the cartel.

Of course we now know, the reasons for the Iraq invasion were A) Saddam wanted to take Euros for oil, not US$ and B) to neutralize any perceived threat to Israel.

Now it's obvious why the PTB in Washington and on our tv sets have such a woody for Iran and Venezuela! They know Iran's not a threat to anybody militarily, but that's the same lame lie they're trying to sell us AGAIN! You buying? I'm not!

Well--one nitpick--the psycho Iran has for a presiden t has threatened to assault Israel ago. But "Iran" as such, no. Otherwise, no , the American public is not purchasing Bush's propaganda one bit. And if you happen to feel the media helps Bush, you're very so much wrong. By coverig this the way in which they're, they're retaining individuals mindful of wht's taking place with out frightening to any extent further of the hysterical yapping from the correct wing than we have already got. America is looking. And I can sum up what they're pondering very in short: George, you don't desire to pisss us off by way of attacking Iran. You particularly do not desire to do this.

Chavez has been saying the US is going to invade Venezuela since the day he was elected.

Nothing new.

He blamed the US that he almost got overthrown in a coup,

Even though the US warned him a coup was coming and told him who was planning it.

Yes, imagine that, the US warning a socialist quasi dictator, that a coup was coming.

And whats really funny, is trade between the US and Venezuela, has almost doubled in the last 6 years.

So despite all the rhetoric, Venezuelans like the US just fine.

I think this little weasel of a man has 'make trouble for the US' written on his daily calendar. It seems to have been a priority ever since he arrived on the scene.

What gets me is the libs I've talked to don't care about this threat. They see any enemy of the state as a champion with balls.
