I hear this at school a lot:
"So I was like omg my cell phone rings, and like she was like there to like pick up the phone, and I'm like."
Typical speech for many college girls. And they say everything in question form.
Yes, it bugs me.

Or when someone says LOL at then end of an answer and it has no place there.
Once I read a question and someone asked if they needed parental consent to get a tattoo if their 16 and someone answered "yep lol!"
How was that funny? And are you really laughing out loud? Was that the funniest thing you've heard all day, cause if so you have a sad life.

It bugs the crap out of me when people say it ALL the time, but I do say it some. I hate it when people use it every sentence.

It is a very sloppy use of the English language but it has started over here in the UK because you people like to ape the language in American TV programmes. The Valley girls have now invade the UK!!
