The Euro is the strongest of the major currencies. The British pound is stronger than the dollar but the Euro is stronger than both. Should Britain be a part of that strength and join the Euro.

Yes, I believe so.
For a start it would lead to simplification.
Something perhaps Britain is not used to.
With the Euro, would evolve a fairer , stable Economy.
Somewhere, there is this false belief, that the euro could
destroy Our Heritage.
What a nonsense, ....How can a
currency make you less patriotic...?
With the constant move towards Modern Technology, with
its good & bad consequences, I cannot understand, Why,
the British Populus are so intent of keeping the currency,
as a £...pound.
Personally, I am of the belief, that by changing to €...euros, then the Nation's Cost of Living would be reduced accordingly, in line with Other European Countries.
Explain, why so many Brits, are fleeing to Countries like
Spain.....?

that's a impressive difficulty England is out of the Euro. Having joined the Euro would have positioned England interior the same boat as eire, up the grimy creek without a paddle. @guin - What a great analogy!! Kudos and all that So one question. If Sheriff Bart is Greece Does that make Silvio Berlusconi the Governor? With Sarkozy as Hedley Lamarr and Lili von Shtupp as Merkil? It fits like a glove!!

This was an old problem. i thought it has been resolved long ago.

The same old answer: if Britain want to be part of Europa, she need to use Euro. In the other words, Britain does not use Euro, and she is no longer a part of Europa.

Think about a market driven economy: britain got stronger because she is a part of Europa and able to sell her products to the whole Europa without much tax. The common mistake was that customers gave you rich and thus you should looking for customewrs. However, if you don't give money back to local, they would no longer afford your products. No income and thus no buying power and thus no customers. The situation would like Manchester.

Evidently you've never heard of a tool of leverage.
I understand that some of the members have all ready had problems. Especially from France who would like to be the "the master".

I would move very cautiously if i were British.
