Unless you can find a way to obtain a property before it is actually foreclosed, check with a qualified real estate agent. Once a bank takes possession of a property, it is generally immediately listed for sale with a real estate brokerage firm.

A few local banks which have kept some mortgages 'in house' might have something available, but the mass market lenders all use real estate brokerage to dispose of foreclosures.
