A group of people I didn't know, including me had to walk up a lot of stairs. They were shallow steps like an opulent hotel. A baby was there with her father and uncle and she wanted to walk by herself but a woman kept picking her up. The babys dad told the woman that she was fine walking but if she wanted to help she could stand behind her and make sure she didn't fall. The woman didn't listen and picked her up again, the child struggled against her and the woman dropped her. The baby fell all the way to the bottom of the stairs and as one the group all went back down the stairs to get her. When we got to the bottom she was upset and screaming but not hurt. Could someone help me with this please, it's driving me insane! Thanks.

First First of all WELCOME to Yahoo answers - hope you share your wisdome with us.

second( First of all) there is spacial section in Yahoo answers - here in social sience ( where psychology is) called Dream interptation - you can try and ask there .

there some detail that are missing about you like age , communication with parets . those details may help , but we try anyway .
I think all the charistaristics in your dream is you . ( as I understand you walk up in group ) the stairs may represent growing - self - spirtual growing . and this dream came to you to help you .

the baby want to walk up alone - what is the baby ? - it may represnt childishness - and i think the ego ( because the baby want to be up the first ) .
the women see like lovely mother may represent the antithesis . (clue by the stragle ) == it seem that their is conflict about self confidence- you should think and find the balance between them how ? there may be clue the the father and his uncle represent external knowledge .

So my advice to you search for self growing - walk up and flower .

{about the falling - all the grupe get down we learn from this that very important to know youself better }

Hope I helped.

The baby is actually you. You're parents are the people helping you reach your goals in life. Unfortunately, your mother is not helping and she is impeding your progress to be grown up and independent.
Being dropped down the stairs and being helped by others means you will be assertive against your mother's wishes. This is a good thing because going up the stairs again means you will succeed in your goals.

I read somewhere that, everyone in your dream even the ones that seem insignificant are a reflection of you in some way. Maybe you're going through something where a dominant female figure is trying to hold you back in some way.Dreams are strange things they can even arrange themselves according to a tv show that you watched or something you experienced recently. Hope I helped!

OK maybe in your dream u are the baby.
some-one keeps helping you but you don't need their help- maybe best friend or bf. this leads to your fall- in life work or social which leaves u sad and upset but not hurt!

i dont give much credence to dreams,as one of my daughters almost everday wakes up and says "you wont believe what i dreamt about last night!,and it is everything from having a baby,aliens,dying,and hurricanes,to being beaten up down dark allies,and murdering us her parents.i would if i were you,do what you can to forget it like my daughter does,i realy sometimes think she has a mini television in her norrie.
