It's a kind of punishment. I have done that too though. If you have second thoughts or no one answered, you should expect to still lose those 5 pts. But you will soon be on a level where you won't care about 5 pts and can enjoy other's answers. Chill. This is Yaphooey.

They will take away points if you delete a question and they will also take away points if you answer a question and that persons question was deleted.

That's a good question. I deleted a question one night because no one had answered it in awhile and I didn't get my 5 points back. That wasn't fair.

coz they dont want people to just use the questions, get the answer they want and then delete the question. all without losing points
