Lets say you know this guy, and you start having a fling with him. You like him a lot, but nobody knows what is going on between you. Suddenly, you dont know from him for a while. Next thing you know, is that your daughter is going out with him and he is really happy for this. You realise your daughter didn't know what was going on between this guy and you.

How would you feel? What would you do? What would you tell your daughter? Would you hate her for "interfering" in what could have been?

what you got to look at is was he going with you just to get to your daughter, i would try to warn him off, and never mention to your daughter that you went out with him. unless he tried to threten you with that. how old are the people involved?

dose this guy know that it's the daughter he's going out with??

1st of all ebing a mother of grown up daughters u wud need to think twice before taking such a step. you should confront and tell the truth. cuz if u dnt and they find out the mother daughter relatiosnhip will no longer be. how could the mother hate the daughter especially if the daughter had no clie shes is dating the same man. it should be the other way round. but personally i think the main idiot would be the guy, kick him out cus hes using ya both.

Hmmm firstly as a mother of a 19 y/o, I wouldn't even look at a man that would be of interest to my daughter, either in terms of age or looks! BUT and its a big but, if your senario did happen, I would not say a word!!!

what can you say to her?
its best to keep quiet I think as it will only spoil their relationship and maybe yours with your daughter
he sounds like a player anyway, he will probably move on to some other unlucky woman soon
I'm sorry you have been treated like this, just pretend like it never happened he isnt worth causing any trouble between you and your daughter
just be there for her when he breaks her heart too
take care hun x
