Wow, they really aren't a good team, are they? They are imposters. I hope they tumble in the Power Rankings, they really should.

What about the Browns, why are they being hyped up all of a sudden?

The Lions have no running game, so teams will simply set up defenses - like a college squad going against a one-dimensional rival - to attack the Martz passing scheme. It was a great story early in the year, but based on a new look, which game film has remedied. The team may win nine games, but it could be another 8-8, with one huge stumble & fall into the mud in the second-half.

Take a look at the Browns record and this is where the hype is coming from. Most pundits in northest Ohio - and throughout the country - had them pegged for 5 or 6 wins maximum, Brady Quinn starting at QB by now and the head coach being fired. AND they have played the real tough part of their schedule....ten wins isn't out of the question.

Detroit is a team still in work and if you are a Detroit fan, you have to be happy with the results and progress. I think this team is 2-3 picks away and maybe a couple of pick ups in the free agent market from being a really good team. This team has not shown up to a couple of them, but they have competed in the majority of them, and hang on they will and should get to the playoffs.

Cleveland is in the same boat as you Lions fans are as they came out of no where and has made a name for them. They have been in every game and not been wasted but the very first game of the year. Cleveland and Detroit should both be looked at as teams to really watch next year.

You have Calvin Johnson and WR usually take a year or two to adjust, he is going to be a good one and I watched him here in Atlanta when he was at Georgia Tech, if he had a QB he had Heisman all over him. enjoy the Roy Williams and Fluerry and Johnson ride and keep sticking with the Lions they are almost ready and hope they keep and get better and not fall off.

It would seem that way after Sundays poor showing. I bought tickets for the thanksgiving game hoping that it would shape up to be a match for first place. Still, Detroit has the coaching it needs to win. The running game is awful, Kitna is much better, but still prone to mistakes. The 'D' is the most improved unit over the course of the season.
