The biggest reason why the Jets beat the Steelers is because the Jets were underdogs and the Steelers came in to that game with a cocky attitude thinking it will be an easy win.
The Steelers make that mistake all the time, over and over again, the Steelers are up and down from one week to another, when they win one week they play poorly the following week and vissa-versa, meaning next week they will at their top performance and they will crush the poor, helpless Miami Dolphins

I'll trade teams for the rest of the season!
I can see that the Eagles record is 5-5, but a game like yesterday's against the Fish feels like a loss. I'll grant the Birds the wins against Detroit and Washington, but to me, the Eagles are a 2-8 team at this point.
The Steelers are leading the division and are a sure bet for the first round bye. Losing to the Jets is bad, but Pittsburgh is in a great spot.

Well you know all teams seem to hit road bumps and they just have happened to hit Denver and the Jets. This is still a team adjusting to a new coach and they have had times of greatness this year, thats what you have to look at as it hasn't been one or two games its been several and thats good. The losses are something all teams will get other than New England maybe this year, but its no big deal. Pittsburgh has the ability to beat a New England team as they do have a running game even if it hasn't shown up in the past couple of games and I believe that will be addressed this week with them as the Jets are the worst in this category. Pittsburgh has a very good time consuming offense that can put points up on the board and can play good defense and that will be an issue for any team that plays them so I wouldnt go as far to say they are the best in the NFL or the elite bunch, but they can be and it will take time and learn as this is all new for this team and staff. Steelers should go to the second round of the playoffs and maybe Championship if New England and Indy play in Round 2, just have to see what happens.

That is a tough question! It was to me at least, the biggest surprise of the weekend! If I had to guess, though, I would say the Steelers did not practice much this week, because they figured that the Jets would be a pushover. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah my Steelers ruined my night last night. What a crappy way to start my week.
I definitely think they have a better chance of beating the Pats than losing to the Dolphins. What can I say, I am an eternal optomist.

that's interesting, my Steelers embarassed me too ...
:O(
If they lose to the dolphins and then beat the Pats, I will forgive them for the embarassment they have caused me this season.
I somehow don't see that happening though.
I think they will bounce back and beat Miami (ooh, big accomplishment) but the Pats are REALLY good ... it would be AWESOME if the Steelers beat them though.
I hate the Patriots ...
:O)

Doubtful they will lose to the Dolphins, but who knows after that embarrassing loss today. Apparently they can only beat teams with winning records, and lose to the bad ones. However, they do not have the tools to slow down New England or even keep up with them.

You have no shot at beating the Pats, but maybe lose to the Dolphins. The Dolphins aren't too bad of a team, showing decent efforts vs. the Giants, Bills, and Eagles. But I still think you will win the game, but it's not a gimmie.

New England is in another universe. The Steelers will defeat the Dolphins, but will get rolled by the Pats.

ok probly lose to dolphins my team green bay pwnt your team in preseason. remember that? that was awsome.
well wait it depends, if its a rigged match up like the last super bowl you "won" a win over the pats may happen and if some of the pats go down on injury never know.
Ok i Hope and pray indy beats the pats in the playoffs that was a close game... if anyone beats the pats in the playoffs it will be the Colts
