let me get this straight, dudes and duddies.. lol
i think, what people consider arranged marriage doesn't really exist much nowadays. Nowadays, your family or friends might introduce you to someone and you will have a chance to actually talk to that person, get to know him/her and decide whether you wanna get married.
In older days, it used to be 100% arranged. Nowadays in some cultures, they have become more flexible and allow the boy and girl to know each other before making a decision. It is "arranged" in a sense you don't do the "searching" but nevertheless you will be making your own decision. Personally, i think this is not a really bad way of getting married cause I can just concentrate on my work and other stuff and others will do the searching. Once the potential girl is found, I can simply extend the process of knowing her and eventually decide whether to get married or not.

If I saw the guy I was being set up was decent with good qualities and at least moderately attractive I would say yes .
Hopefully there would be some conversations and interaction first to be sure.
This is still common today in Islam I witnessed it many times.
It is not as barbaric as Western culture may think it is. We tend more to hear about the sad stories of the overbearing parents who force the girl into it while she is crying and begging. Yes this happens but I've seen more good than bad and when the girl is a clueless virgin a wise father can help make sure she ends up with a respectable decent husband.

I wouldnt if I was from a well off family because parents only want arranged marriages to keep the wealth in the family and the blood line strong.
If I was to have had an arranged marriage with my life going right now, I would definately go for it.

I would but I dont think my parents would pick a good woman for me. My mom would pick a total saint that does nothing wrong, and my dad would pick a total slut. Although I do think some arranged marriages work. You develop love over time during the marriage not during dateing and then get married and know everything about each other and have nothing to talk about.

I would if, the woman was at least a 6 1/2 on a scale from 1-10 and we got along well.

No I would prefer having an amputation without anesthetic. But seriously I know a guy who had this done to him when he was younger, he's pretty messed up now and has no way to get out of it. You can joke about being married to a hot celebrity but the truth is you don't know them they could end up being horrible or you just don't click and you have to be with this person for life no way out.

Only if I knew everything there was to know about him first. He could have AIDS, or anything else hidden in the closet. I would follow him night and day, to see what life he leads. But i would never marry a person that i had never seen before in my life and knew nothing about.

No, arranged marriages should only be there for those who want it.
For example, in India, a lot of girls think of it as convenient so that they don't have to compete with other girls.
