dear LP
you are present here and now. your mind is always away from this "here and now". this disparity causes a lack in the life and by the time you are not mentally and physically at the same point of time and space you cannot live fully.
whenver and as long as there is a distance and separation between your body and mind you cannot live fully. whenever you join a dance, your body is there on the floor but your mind is somewhere in your office, or market or with some new friend. it means that only a part of you enjoyed the dance.
so to live life fully you have to be present at the same place and time both physically and mentally.

By having a very good balance in Life. That means good sleep, healthy foods, and regular exercise. Mind stimulation is important too. Reading, problem solving, games, puzzles, anything to keep your mind active. On a spiritual level, prayer is important. Striving to be a good person loving thy neighbor, ones family and developing healthy relationships. Caring for others and helping society to improve every persons quality of life through voluntary work, donations, helping someone across the street, are all simple ways to contribute to society which gives one a feeling of satisfaction. The fact of giving in general is positive for the soul. Developing a positive and energetic attitude to ones work is also very important to maintaining a great overall feel to ones self worth. Lastly, but not least, remember to have fun in life, take vacation breaks every year. Enjoy the Holidays with family and friends alike and learn to smile and laugh a lot in life and at yourself as being too serious in life is just not worth it. Keeping these factors in mind while living life only adds to the enjoyment of fulfilling life to the fullest.

It's not really a choice, contrary to what people say.
On "Stranger Than Fiction," the main character is credited for "living his life," but the whole reason he was a loner was circumstantial anyway. No one chooses a routine life. It just happens.
So, that expression is really vague and simplistic.

Love God completely, love colleague as Self, and love as Christ Jesus, Truth, loves--three concentric spheres of Being.
Appreciate what Mark Prophet has to say in "Climb the Highest Mountain," what Ann Ree Colton says in "Watch Your Dreams" and "Men in White Apparel," what Free and Wilcock say in "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", and what O. M. Aivanhov says in "Man, Master of His Destiny."
"Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, and "Extraordinary Knowing," Dr. Elizabeth Mayer, also good.
best regards,
j.

It's a meaningless phrase. It is like revving your engine in your garage, it gives the illusion of going somewhere but it's just a lot of noise.
It's quoted a lot by people who have no real purpose in life to deceive themselves into thinking that they do.

Hemingway wrote that the only people who live life all the way up are some of the bullfighters. So you become one of the good bullfighters.
