Everyone keeps saying he is ignorant. or a jerk. How many of you know the guy??? Everything you see is through the media. And the media definitely doesn't protect him like they do guys like Tiger, and Jordan. As for the steroids, and cheating? He obviously took steroids, but so did everyone else in MLB during the last 10 years, so it was still a level playing field. I think everyone should stop crying, and actually look at what this man has accomplished. He is the best player ever period. Until A-rod takes his crown in a few years. It is sad that he has to go through all of this, the league and the law are just trying to make an example out of him. Oh, and i dont like Bonds, i just don't judge the guy by the news.

They say that he got most of his homeruns before he started using HGH. I wonder if he wasn't such SOB would everyone still be on him. I'm no Bonds fan, not by a longshot, but we know a lot of players used. Why is Bonds taking all the heat for this? Is it because he denied ever using?

A pretty good baseball player. I think he did take something but i'm not going to accuse him until a court does. Outside of his great baseball skill, he's arrogant and conceited. The media seems to glorify but also condemn him. Now's he's accused of perjury and will go to court but will probably get out of actual jailtime. I think its just karma catching up with him.

I don't care for him at all. I think he's a cheater and a liar. Neither of those personality traits are very attractive, if you ask me. But I won't launch into some big speech about his steroid usage, I'll just say that I don't like him.

he lied to the grand jury so he must pay for his crime... if McGwire would have lied, he would be in the same boat... this has nothing to do with whether Bonds actually took steroids...
same principle with the former Bubba... no one was prosecuting him for having sex with anyone at any time... he simply lied to a grand jury, federal no less, just like Bonds...
If any other Joe Shmoe lied to a grand jury, he would be prosecuted as well...

Regardless of the legal issues and the steroids, I think is is an amazing player. Unfortunately he is also an arrogant self serving jerk too.

honestly, a liar and a cheat and he treats lower people very bad. never a huge fan before the juice and now. If he is playing baseball on tv, the channel gets changed

He's a jerk, socially retarded, greedy, selfish, yet he's one of the greatest players ever and was a Hall of Famer before the "bulking up". It is sad what he's done and what has happened to him because there's no question there's been a witch hunt on him.
