I love this country but we are backwards at time's feel that if your not old enough to drink then you should not be old enough to fight for this country. Children just out of high school looking to go to college are dying before ever even get drink a glass of wine how crazy is that, the age could be 21 ,18 is still to young.

There are all kinds of possible reasons and/or excuses, but I agree completely that if you're old enough to die you're old enough to drink.

you can drink at any age, but in some states it's illegal until you are 21. you probably wont see the wisdom in these laws until you see what happens to some people you know who think that being drunk is sexy and cool year after year. unfortunately that knowledge only comes with experience. sorry that's probably not what you wanted to hear but it's true. every year thousands of teens and adults are splattered on their dashboards. check out auto crash pictures.com

3) you come home and have to drink just to forget the horrible
things you've seen during the "war"

drinking takes responsibility and majority of the people feel people under 21 are not responsible enough.

Lots of people feel the same. Tell your elected officials to change the laws. Write them letters, get petitions signed. You can do it.
