I did believe in Santa Claus, and I was pissed off when my mom told me when I was 6 that it was Mr. So and So in a Santa Claus suit. I promised myself I would never tell the Santa Claus lie to my kids, and I didn't.

No I didn't, we always lived in apartments and I didn't understand how he got into the suite. I also thought it was suspicious that whenever I'd ask my parents about him, they'd get very angry and never really answer my questions. I didn't think it was possible for anyone to travel around the world to every single house in a one day time period. The funny thing is that nobody ever told me Santa wasn't real I just stopped getting presents from him one year.

No. My parents and I believe it is dishonest to tell kids he's real. Especially 'cause we tell them about Jesus at the same time. Then when they find out Santa isn't real what are they to conclude but that Jesus isn't either.

I think that even when I was really little I understood on some level that he wasn't real. It probably had something to do with the fact that we opened our presents on Christmas Eve.

I used to as a kid, but when a friend told me that it's not true and it's really one's parents, I actually refused to believe it. (He sometimes told lies just to annoy others.) I was actually so upset that I told all my friends it's just a lie.
