I love that movie! However, it's not very reality based as Bob's symptoms don't really fit in with one or more diagnoses. You said (you remember the movie better than I do) he says he has "multiphobic anxiety," which I presume means he has lots of specific phobias. Like, he's phobic about the dark, a hypochondriac, etc. Also, I seem to remember some OCD-like symptoms where things HAD to be a specific way. Moreover, he's so anxious about everything, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (in addition to OCD and several Specific Phobias) seems likely. Gosh, that covers most of the anxiety disorders... good thing he didn't end up with PTSD from the "death therapy!" Bob also seems depressed. Let's see, what else... just guessing, without having my DSM in front of me... Dependent Personality Disorder?
Now, his psychiatrist, on the other hand is obviously Narcisstic Personality Disorder!

If you are a natural person you should try cognitive behavioral therapy. It was the only thing that has helped me with my horrible health anxiety. Read here https://tr.im/GeoNd
Your thinking determines your quality of life. Your thinking is what causes you these feelings:
Anxious, fearful, stressed or depressed
Constantly worried, or angry about something that is happening in your life
Struggling to overcome obsessive and negative thoughts.
If you change your thinking, you will change your life. This is the basic idea behind CBT for anxiety. The Cognitive part is where you learn nee methods and ways to change your same old habits and thinking patterns. If you keep thinking and expecting the worst – You will continue to suffer.

I know he is multi phobic, but I also think that he has acute Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Though I don't know the diagnostic term for it, he also seems to have attachment/dependency issues

Sounds like a little bit of OCD. Besides that, he just seemed to have a bad case being annoying. WTH did you just see that movie recently or something? haha

His list seems quite accurate to me, so why are you looking for something else? For that matter, the course of treatment was apparently quite effective -- at least for him (yes, "Death Therapy").
