Applicants from California community colleges have the highest rate of admission to UCLA.

UCLA accepted 23% of high school applicants last year while accepting 44% of all who applied from a California community college.

So the best way to get in is:

-attend a California community college

-maintain a 3.75 gpa or above

-join the "Transfer Alliance Program" at your comm college (transfer alliance with UCLA)

-do volunteer work and research in a field related to your major (research is more important for bio, chem type majors)

-write a good personal statement
