there are really so many, but the one that would erase all the other bad decisions would be to have not moved across the country when I was 17. I would go back and graduate college and then go from there. that wouldn't mean I wouldn't make other bad decisions, but I can only base my answer on my past experiences and how I now realize that I made some really stupid life altering choices.

I just woke up from a nightmare reflexing on my past. I did not want to go back to sleep, so here I am on Y! Answers. **VERY** ironic that this question appeared!!!!!!!
I have many “bad decisions” that I wish were never made. But...all happens for a reason and good & bad come from it.
Let’s go with the “GOOD” first, since it’s a positive matter:
What do we gain from making destructive decisions? ***WISDOM***
Does one really want to stumble through life without meaning?
YES, the pain is immense from the wisdom gained...but this is a lesson in life that can be learned no other way. People can give us advise, but it isn’t effective until we have traveled that road of despair. It helps us with standing solid in life and truly knowing in what direction our decisions should be made............
Now for the “BAD”:
All know the #1 answer to this....enormous grieve within our souls.
This occurs not only when we make a bad life decision, but also when we follow the same direction again and again. Do we follow this because it’s a comfort zone....meaning it’s a path that we have traveled? Or is it because we remain blinded and subconsciously continue in the same pattern?
Regardless, with every life decision we make...we are forming our future. If we continue to look over our shoulder, our past becomes our future. So to answer your question.....there are many things of which I would choose to do differently. But without these distorted decisions I’ve made, I would not have gained **WISDOM**......
WISDOM~ “The ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting; insight.
(a few quotes)
"It is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things" (Henry David Thoreau).
"Life cannot be administered by definite rules and regulations; that wisdom to deal with a man's difficulties comes only through some knowledge of his life and habits as a whole" (Jane Addams)
"Tis much he dares,
And to that dauntless temper of his mind,
He hath a wisdom that doth guide his valor
To act in safety" (William Shakespeare)
"We have broken down the self-respecting spirit of man with nursery tales and priestly threats, and we dare to assert, that in proportion as we have prostrated our understanding and degraded our nature, we have exhibited virtue, wisdom, and happiness, in our words, our actions, and our lives" (Frances Wright)

Im seeing a lot of these question in YAHOO ANSWERS these days whats going on,,,,
Anyway I would have avoided being with the wrong group of people and avoided the the bad stuff they did. Its a long story but I got me into a lot of trouble as a teenager cos i got involved in drugs and faced legal prosecution,,,,,oh well it was almost 10 years ago but that decision changed my life for the worse and im still in some ways paying for it.

I don't know but I hardly wish for something that never comes true. I mean impossible to come true. Have you seen "Tokyo Drift"? If yes then I'm just wondering if you remember what Han said to Sean. Remember? "Life is easy. You make decisions and you don't look back". And I think it's a very true statement. Therefore, I think if I could turn back time, I would wish to be back to present and enjoy the rest of my life :)

ive learned a lot from my past ups and downs in life. so, i wouldnt change those bad experiences because that lead me to be a better person. thats how God wanted to happened and what im right now is because there is something to do with my past experiences. Life is unfair and im contended with what i have. im not a rich person but i feel complete because i have my family who loves and support me all the time. i have lots of friends and they always beside me whenever i need a help or they need my help.

None. Some of the bad things in my life led to better things. If I tampered with one thing, everything might be changed and I would miss out on some wonderful experiences.

I would have stayed in school ,and gotten more of an education. I quit school at 15 ,and have regretted it ...since I am now 30 with not very much education ,and learning that you dont get too far in life without a high school diploma at least .

I would have not gotten married at 16 yrs.old and would have waited till i was older and really ready. I always say now...if i would have only known then what i know now.....life would have been alot different....but all things happen for a reason and that is what makes us who we are when we get older.....you learn from bad mistakes and bad choices in life....learn from your mistakes and don't repeat them....

I would have gone straight to college instead of getting married at 17 and having children first.
