How is it possible that if u exceed light speed you go back in time? Like In The 1800s we may have said if we exceed mach 5 we would find ourself back in time. Einstein clearly was a genius But im finding it hard to believe that part.A theory that i beleive in is hyperspace. If u exceed the speed of light you enter into hyperspace

Mistress how can u possibly say we cant exceed the speed of light the technology just hasnt been developed yet. and mr black think about what you are saying you wouldnt need the speed of light just to travel around the earth.now if superman traveled at the speed of light to a planet 500 light years away your saying he would just go back to where he started when he reaches light speed?Everything would just be different he'll be traveling at the speed of light,so his point of view would be at the speed of everything would look distorted and stretched becauses hes moving to fast.and misstress i didnt say hyperspace was apart from our space and time i would say its apart of our space and time. But from subliminal view of an object moving at the speed of light wouldnt look the same you would most likely see a streak of light.

That just doesnt make since.

If That is the case why dont we see illusions of light from the sun,The light comes in and Exit out earths atmospere,we dont see illusions of this light.Light is considered energy, which energy is matter,so if one form of matter can travel at the speed of light, then another form of matter can break the speed of light.i beleive we can travel well faster than the speed of light.

I noticed that you didn't say that you didn't "understand" the theory, but rather, that you didn't "believe".
That's fair.

So, you didn't just miss the part of Einstein's theory which says that nothing can go faster than the speed of light in a vacuum.
Okay.

So, let's do a thought experiment.
Superman, or Han Solo, or somebody flies from Earth to Alpha Centauri and back again in one year (instead of the 8.4 years required for light to make the same trip).
He leaves Earth and returns one year later.
When he arrives back at Earth, the scientists of Earth look into their exceedingly powerful telescopes and see a very curious thing.
They not only see an image of our traveler flying away at an extreme rate, but they also see another image of him approaching the Earth (in reverse) even after he has arrived back on Earth.
The thing to remember is that these things are illusions.
There are not two more of him out there somewhere.
He is in the here and now.
No matter how you cut it, he arrives back at Earth AFTER he left.
This would continue to be true even if he traveled much greater distances in much less time.

You can't exceed the speed of light, so the question is moot. You can't go back in time. Period. There is no hyperspace apart from the space/time we live in that you enter. Read more physics and watch less Star Wars.

Re your edit: science can never say something is impossible. But we can say that to go beyond light speed requires physics as we currently understand it to be wrong. It's not just a technology issue--it's a physics issue. So if we're wrong about that, how would we possible know what would happen?

Re--the whole streak of light thing--yes, that's exactly what happened when Han got the hyperdrive to work--streaks of light and the TIE fighters left in the dust. Just be careful not to come out around asteroids.

Imagine Superman flying around the Earth in the same direction.

The faster he flies, the faster he reaches his starting point again, right?

Imagine he keeps speeding up every time he flies around. The time it takes him to reach the starting point will get smaller and smaller, all the way to 0.00000 seconds, or instantaneous (he will arrive at the starting point exactly when he leaves). Now, if he were to go just a little bit faster than that, he would reach the starting point in, say, -1 seconds. That means, he will have reached the starting point 1 second before he started flying. IE. he traveled back in time.

Hope that made sense.

enable me positioned it like this...in basic terms because someone might want to apply the English language (or notwithstanding different one you opt for) to inform a lie, would not recommend the whole language is invalid. because a scientist makes use of, as you position it, "a similar medical concepts and epistemological methodologies" that are valid in a unmarried celebration, this does no longer cause them to valid in all circumstances. If one were to be extremely genuine interior the reason of the "evolution" of the evolution concept, it could be shown that the evolutionary concept is a diverse and noticeably huge determination of thoughts from many various persons and establishments, no longer in basic terms one. in basic terms because it would want to be reported of the Creationists...there are a style of different philosophical and ideological differences. Jeez, you may't even get 2 Baptists to agree on each and every thing now to not indicate the whole non secular international.

unlike what Mistress whatsit says if you could exceed the speed of light we could answer this question but since we cant do this yet we have to wait because with the Greeks they thought Zeus made lighting now we know that it is just electricity we could in the end pass the speed of light and go back in time

Your problem is lack of understanding of the Theory.
