YouTube are running a new anti bullying campaign for anti bullying week (this week).

Are YouTube one of the worst offenders for allowing some of the bullying videos such as happyslapping to be shown on their site?

I strongly help gay rights, and that i'm sorry to work out that those human beings felt a would desire to cite Biblical passages advocating loss of life for homosexuals. It replaced into insensitive and beside the point, if not scandalous. on the different hand, do notice that many congregations are gay-friendly and/or have gay clergy. As I even have spoke of here probable one thousand cases now, not all Christians are homophobes. As repugnant as i stumble on the pro-loss of life messages, i'm additionally staunchly anti-censorship, and unfastened speech additionally includes unpopular and/or ignorant speech. For what that is properly worth, I left a definite properly-customary Christian denomination because of the fact i replaced into so bored to death with their persevering with homophobia. i'm sorry that the anti-bullying software replaced into sullied with this way of bullying. A relatives member of mine killed himself as an on the spot consequence of anti-gay harassment, and that i've got been perplexed for being bisexual. If something reliable can come from the alternative to placed on those t-shirts, i think it rather is that it would desire to open further public communicate in this significant subject.

Good point, if it wasn't for YouTube then morons wouldn't bother to beat people up and film it on their mobile phones and upload it onto this hypocritical site.

Girls Aloud have also jumped on the bandwagon - would that be tarty little miming group who includes Cheryl Tweedy (Cole) aka that convicted little thug - she punched a lavatory attendant in the face in a racially aggrevated assault - it just gets worse doesn't it?

They have got a bad rep for it but so have sites like bebo and myspace, all of them need to clean up their act and do more to protect the young people that use them.

Good on YouTube for this campaign though.

I have just seen this advertised on GMTV.I couldn't believe You Tube are running this campaign. They need to take a good look at the video's which are already on there and filter them out.
How can they be showing bullying on one video and condemning it in another.Which will the average teen chose to watch? conflicting information leads to confusion.
The site needs a complete over hall before this campaign airs.
