They're obviously the clear favorite to win the Super Bowl, but who in the AFC has the best chance of knocking them off?

Indy had them on the ropes, but has looked awful since that game. The Jags seem to be rolling, but it's tough to know what to make of them. And how will the Steelers fare in Foxboro if they can't beat the lowly Jets?

So who's their top challenger? Still the Colts?

To win the whole enchilada, I think the Colts are still the biggest threat IF they can get healthy.

However, when the Colts lost Dwight Freeney, that may well be the difference in any rematch.

As for losing a game in the regular season, only something like inclement weather will slow them down. They haven't shown themselves to be prone to let-downs after important games. That's the method to the madness of stepping on everyone's throat.

Pittsburgh could normally give them some trouble, but Willie Parker isn't exactly impressing of late. The Colts showed how to beat the Pats -- clock management. They can't score when their offense isn't on the field. Without Parker, sustained clock-chewing drives may not be in the cards.

I hate to say it, but this could be the year the '72 Dolphins say goodbye to their record.

OMG K-Dog. What a homer.

There is no threat. patriots are going 19-0

Did you mean to ask who will lose to the Patriots in AFC Championship game?

I guess I pick Indy. Marvin Harrison might actually be healthy by then and give the Colts a chance at Foxboro

Whew, after last night watching my Bills get thumped, I cant' say who stands in the Pats way. The Steelers maybe but even alot of Steeler fans that I work with don't see that happening, especially after last nights loss to the Jets. While i am never an advocate of causing injury, the only way to beat them is to take out Brady. He is too good, the offense is too potent. This may be the best team assembled..... EVER.

I am a lifelong Cowboys fan and think that Dallas will be playing the Pats in the Big Game in January. Do I think the Cowboys will win? Honestly no, but time will tell. The Pats are a great team and I agree with some comments both here and in other questions that some of their fans make you want to hate them but then so do other teams in all sports. People love to hate the team that is winning all the time (and its fans). The biggest threat I see to New England? The off season and trying to keep the team as intact as possible with players demanding more money, free agency, injuries, etc etc.

Every game is a possible loss!!! However their biggest threat will come from the colts!! Yes these two teams will meet again and Harrison will be playing!!!
Just because the Steelers didn't win tonight doesn't mean they won't win in Foxboro.

well with the colts being so beat up and pittsburg taking a step backwards, i think the jaguars have a team that can give the patsies a run for their money in the playoffs i know the jags dont get much attention but i have watched them about 4 or 5 times and they are good solid qb play with few mistakes, a real good running game, good special teams and a stout defense that can get pressure out of their front four

THIS IS NOT A JOKE................

the pats will be 15-1 this year nd their one lose will be against the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS (yes im a jets fan). The Jets really showed that they still have fight today. The Steelers r a very very good team. i think the Jets are set to make a little run this year 2 build up for next year. Coach I am a cheater and i want to take it out on every NFL team will want 2 destroy the jets more than any other team because of spygate nd the jets will be ready. I know i am going 2 get a lot of thumbs down for this but i really believe the jets will knock off the patriots. KELLEN CLEMENS FUTURE SUPERBOWL MVP ND PRO BOWLER!!!!!!!!!! I am starting 2 hate the patriots more than I have the Red Sox

Biggest threat?...Complacency...As far as other teams, still the Colts...You don't hear anyone else mentioned as the second best team...I suppose you could argue the Steelers...but since they just lost to the Jets, I don't think they could keep up with the Pats

i truly dont know....they are amazing possibly one of the best teams ever..just look at the numebrs...NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY EGO- look whqat being on the pats has done to moss. he has behaved like an angel...but ny team could knock them off its the NFL no one sucks cause no one else in the world can compare to those athelets. but anything can happen any one can win -proline.
any one team can have an amazing game , the game they loose (if they do ) will not be a blow out and it will NOT BE THE JETS OR LIONS.
the only real competetors in my mind are:
colts, Cowboys, Packers, Steelers and the jaguars

In the AFC it still has to be the Colts, though i don't see any team beating them in Foxboro. Manning has looked pretty un-Manning like this season. As long as Brady stays healthy, they will be in the SuperBowl
