im of german decent on my mothers side and for some reason i feel close or safe around other people of german decent, or germans from germany. what do you call this, they feel the same way and i dont know why even though i am of 5 generation. i even find some character traits and things that i do that germans do to.

It is in your head because you know you are of German decent. I think your are intrigued by that fact.
However, most societies in history stick together, even now it still occurs, it could be more to it?? I'm German Decent too, but can not say that has ever happened to me.

You might have heard the old adage...birds of the same feather fly together.....Your liking others of German descent is quite normal and natural. You will like them on many occasions before you are told that they too are from German ancestry.. Such instant likings are caused by brain waves, which is yet to be investigated fully.
