Feminism fights for womens rights only, which when needed is ok.

You are delusional or certainly not with history or the program, if you think feminism does not fight against mens rights

To say you dont know what im talking about makes you biggoted or self centered feminist.
Us anti's know what problems feminist have but we dont say 'awww I dont know what your talking about'
We know what your talking about but we may have an argument about the extent of the problem or the help needed or even if that problem troubles both genders.
Not a blanket ' ooooohhh geeez I dont know what you are talking about'
Uneducated liars.

OK so ill leave it for another question as it would seem that feminists are surely blind to feminists fighting against mens rights on areas that women have more rights than men.
Thats not unexpected at all.

RJ has a point, one group gaining rights doesn't necessarily mean that another group loses rights. there isn't a limited number of rights or freedoms. this is not a zero sum game.
some of the things you see as rights may actually be privileges, and if you wouldn't mind being a bit more open for a moment, you would see that a good deal of feminists who do actually do human rights work (most don't) are very careful to make sure that human rights are not being violated.
For example, when I was working for the Nationwide Women's Program of the American Friends Service Committee, we were focused on the genocide in Darfur. We focused specifically on sexual violence and rape as a weapon of war. We did not separate between the males who were being sexually violated or the females. we were dealing with it as a unit because that is how society is constructed, with both males and females. dealing with them separately only perpetrates the very myths that we as feminists are seeking to dissolve.
And this was true of a great deal of our campaigns. we had campaigns against FGM and involuntary circumcision of boys, we had campaigns for a woman's right to choose, but also for a fathers right to retain custody in the case of the mother putting the child up for adoption. Our campaigns about sex crimes included crimes against men as well as women, and we also covered LGBT issues.
We are inclusive. you just need to open your eyes to see it.
edit: how am I blind to it? i gave you specific examples that refute your argument. i am not blind to the fact that you see not being included in things like VAWA as discrimination, which I dont understand, but that is not the same as having your rights trampled on. please explain.

Just call it conflicting interests; yeah that's the best way to call it. I'm an anti-feminist cause I don't believe in equality. End of story.**Women have been doing things for themselves long before the feminists ever came along.**Abigail Adams reminded her husband to remember the women when the Declaration of Independence was first drafted? Well, she did; "...remember the ladies, and be more generous and favorable to them than your ancestors. Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the Husbands. Remember all Men would be tyrants if they could. If particular care and attention is not paid to the Ladies we are determined to foment a Rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any Laws in which we have no voice, or Representation." First came the right to vote, fine, I don't care to vote myself, after that came the right to work; we've been doing that for centuries;from which came equal pay; something that is near impossible; for we, as women, in the workforce are also less likely to work a full-time schedule;are more likely to leave the labor force for longer periods of time than men, further suppressing women's wages.**The worst product of our greed has been Affirmative Action. Feminism speaks against discrimination, yet they go and do it themselves. Especially towards white males. I call this practice degrading if anything.**Edit R J: Am I brainwashed now? You see it all here in black and white. Are my words the words of a fearful woman? No R J you will not "take it away"..The American society, is a feminist society, still it never stopped me when I lived there from being an anti-feminist; there's nothing you can do about it. You can whine, cry, scream your head off; it won't help, cause there are anti/non-feminists; not every one is ever going to be a feminist; it's about time you and your mates got that through your heads. Also check my links to see how women faired in the past.

Your definition of feminism is very narrow. Feminism is a philosophy, not a practice, and it doesn't 'fight' anyone.
Individual feminists might do that, and many are also involved in other activism, such as the environmental movement and human rights organisations.
And just because men have some rights it doesn't mean women shouldn't have the same or different rights, or that some men's rights need to be expanded to include women.
After all, as the old saying goes, my right to stretch my fist stops where your nose begins. If your rights are taking up space that my rights need, it's time to look at them and work on re-shaping the way things function.
Anything that remains stagnant dies, we need progress and change, and even though it's scary to contemplate that some of these changes may mean shifting roles and responsibilities, we've all got the choice of getting on board or getting left behind.
As for feminism being hated and having conflict, that may be your experience, but it's not mine. Feminists work with and in many groups and organisations around the world making changes where they are needed.
If occasionally you disagree with an individual or group of feminists' views, how is that any different to disagreeing with an individual Republican's views, or an individual capitalist's views?
Not everyone who espouses a particular position speaks for everyone else who is in the same 'group', especially for a philosophy as broad and encompassing as feminism.
Cheers :-)

Yah properly struggling with against mens rights is by some potential ok for some women folk, because of the fact they're in the way of womens rights. seem at VAWA to illustrate. harmless untill shown in charge thrown over board in the call of risk-free practices.

Feminists wouldn't appear opposed to the fight for men's rights if the majority of its spokesmen didn't appear so opposed to the fight for women's rights. As it stands, the best-known masculists make their points with overtones of sexism.

Because of dumb women like 'leala' who stick behind men no matter what the cost because they have been brainwashed by society to think men are superior therefore she holds feminism back as do the primitive men who still think its the 1400's.
No one has fought against 'mens rights' the people above who i described are just full of hate and fear. They dont want to see women progress.
In your distorted delusional mind you have somehow equated feminism with wanting to bring men down. You just dont want to have any of YOUR POWER taken away by women GAINING POWER.

Feminism has made lots of strides to push its version of equality on society and influence stereotypes.
Feminism is mothers rights, but no fathers rights. The new family unit is now defined as a mother and her children.
Its women being treat like princesses in prison and men being treat like animals. Female prison guards humiliate and degrade men, but female prisoners get privacy and respect from male prison guards. Women were at the forefront of the Abu Ghraib scandal thanks to feminism.
Its bodily choice for women, but forced genital mutilation for baby boys, referring to womens rights to their bodies in terms of abortion, but boys being circumcised without choice.
Its female reporters allowed in men’s locker rooms, but privacy and respect for female athletes. Very strange definition of equality that feminsim was very vocal about as being equal rights - but only for women.
Its generating a mythical pay gap so women will be able to earn more than men some day through misguided legislation. Women simply dont choose high risk, labor intensive and therefore often higher paying jobs, as men. Please refer to resources.
Its women getting everything in a divorce, and men being torn away from their children
Its Female sex offenders being slapped on the wrist, but male sex offenders being incarcerated the rest of their lives
Its men being sentenced to more time for the same crime than women. This can be reserached under the US government and is a very disturbing statistical fact - unless your a feminist.
Its a feminized education system that cripples natural behavior of boys, then girls claiming they are smarter.
Its women being allowed to drown five children and using the fact she is a woman to get away with it - Andrea Yates
Its women being allowed to use domestic violence as an excuse to murder a sleeping husband, even though there is no evidence of domestic abuse - Mary Winkler
Its men being jailed for defending themselves against an abusive wife, but called a wimp if he takes the abuse
Its women demanding respect from men, but never having to respect them in return
Its women having the choice between abortion, adoption, dropping an unwanted baby off at a hospital, raising the child with a father, or raising the child without a father, but the only choice men have is to agree.
Its 3 innocent Duke Lacrosse players losing their lives because we dont ever think a woman could lie about rape - let alone prosecute her for doing so.
Its women labeling men as abusive when the US government has shown women cause more child abuse than men.
Its female rape being horrendous, but male rape being funny and made in to comedy movies
It’s more health care spending going towards women’s health even though men live an average of 5 years less. Breast cancer receives 7 times the funding of prostate cancer.
Its allowing women only clubs and banning men only clubs
It’s doing everything we can to help girls in math and science, but letting boys fall further behind in everything else.
It’s defining equal pay for equal work as men playing five sets of tennis, but women only playing three. Maybe women claiming 3=5 is the reason for the above point
Its cutting men’s sports in college in favor of women’s sports that have no interest
Its female murderers being mentally ill, but male murderers just being evil
Its claiming men walk out on their family when its actually women who file 80% of divorces
Its men being portrayed as evil, stupid or buffoons on TV and all women being perfect or superior
Its women wanting equality for their gender, but men being called chauvinist pigs when they want equality for their gender
Its fixing the education system when girls are failing, and blaming the boys when boys are failing
Its women being allowed to level false accusation against an innocent man without consequence. Read Duke Lacrosse and many other examples. Feminism has installed this right to women through the courts.
Its women claiming they are the ones oppressed, whilst ignoring all the above and more.
