Ok, for anyone who has gone to a WIC appt before i need your help. I go tomorrow, they want be to bring my pay stub, and etc. I live with my fiance, since I am technically "single" not married are they going to look at his income? thx

Since you live with him, he is helping to support the household. They will need his income, too. Don't hide the facts from them.

WIC should only be given to women who truly need it. If it turns out that your income and your fiance's are high enough that you don't qualify for WIC then you shouldn't get it.

Taxpayers like me are paying for WIC only for the truly needy in this country.

If I remember correctly, they only ask for your marital status and not if you live with anyone. I was single too when I signed up for WIC. I was on it for one year. At the year mark, they will do a follow up and if you are making more, got married, etc, your eligibility might change.

Whatever you do, don't lie. If they catch you, it might be that you never qualify for govt assistance again.

they just want to know that there is a income that is real I'm on wic and my husband makes good money so you should be ok don't lie to them they find things out and i don't really know how

Yes they will look at his income but if i were you i would not tell them that cause it may knock you out of getting wic.

no they don't do that with WIC only with food stamps it really doesn't matter how much you make to get WIC

If you live together, yes, they need his info too.
